The UCL Research Society is a society for all those involved in clinical and/or scientific research relating to any aspect of healthcare.

The Society aims to encourage and support such research by:

>> Organising fortnightly meetings for UCL and UCH members
>> Organising International Academic Meetings linked to other societies
>> Supporting younger investigators with annual awards
>> Awarding prizes for oral and poster presentations
>> Providing research topics and ideas
>> Organising educational events (e.g. IT & statistics courses)
>> Providing support to young investigators with study design and statistical analysis

The URS will be hosting the 1st Annual Meeting for UCL/UCH and other members in due course.

The URS annual Dinner was held at Zizzi Restaurant in Charlotte Str. sponsered by BioStatIT LTD.

The second meeting of the URS was held at the Doctors Room, 2 nd Floor, Maple House on Sunday 13 th January 2008. The main aim of this meeting was to allocate articles to be written up by URS members for publication.
